Desire Under the Elms Process 

In the summer of 2022, I had my very first professional theatre job at Actor's Express in Atlanta. I was hired as an overhire carpenter but spent the entirety of my time carving out rocks out of the styrofoam wall as well as smaller rocks to go under the stage. I painted 16-foot walls with multiple coats of paint, all while balancing on a ladder. I also spent my time cutting out multiple sheets of fabric into leaf shapes and painting those as well. Working professionally so early on in my career was an exciting experience and one I hope to continue.
